The Age of Entitlement Is Ending. Amid Ignorance and Arrogance...

What else?
The Idiocracy begins with entitled fantasy and works backwards to fake belief...

The arrogant tools who think they're the smartest, are the ones making this species look the dumbest. The definition of an Idiocracy is a society incapable of learning from its own mistakes. Borrowing too much money was a "once in a generation" crisis, resolved by borrowing more money...

There's no history on the History Channel...
Like anyone else who believes in free will, I don't want to believe in fatalism, but then we see the same arrogant jackasses making the same asinine mistakes over and over again. Because ironically, those who don't believe in historical fatalism, are the ones who make it inevitable. Western societies have zero introspection and therefore zero historical perspective. Every moment is discrete from the last and the next, so there's no collective memory for how we got here, vis-a-vis the same asinine mistakes and assumptions all over again. It's the attention deficit Idiocracy.

Those of us who want off this idiot death spiral are swimming against the tide, necessarily. Betting against the status quo takes its own resolve. However, it's a measure of the arrogance of this age, that the people who don't believe in fatalism are the ones making the same fucking mistakes over and over again. The very definition of insanity.

Ignorance and arrogance are a lethal combination. "The Big Short" isn't just a "Hilarious farce" about the 2008 crash, it's what is happening all over again right now in broad daylight.
