The Art Of The Implosion aka. America Last

Now that the Tech bubble is imploding, rationality is being restored - at the end of the cycle. This will be a very painful final lesson in denial. Of that we can be certain...

The world has had enough of Republican depravity: circus clown presidents, serial military blunders, deregulated corruption, scapegoating foreign nations, Voodoo Ponzinomics, financial crashes, trade wars, tax cuts for Oligarchs, asinine fiscal deficits. Hard to believe, but there is only so much that global markets can take. On a scale from 1 to 10 of U.S. global leadership, the current administration scores a -11...

Granted, there appears to be some level of disagreement on this topic, especially among those who've been conned by their own delusion:

With Facebook imploding spectacularly, never before has so much been riding on one company, as Amazon reports after today's close:

"Nearly 70 percent of those surveyed said Amazon will reach the trillion-dollar value milestone first...Nearly 100 investors were polled at the [Delivering Alpha] conference [last week].

The investors may be betting that Amazon’s stunning stock momentum this year will continue as its shares are up 56 percent through Tuesday compared with Apple’s 14 percent gain and Alphabet’s 19 percent return."

It turns out that the last time Amazon blew up on earnings was this quarter, one year ago.

I think we all see where I'm going with this...

It's clear now that Trump's big trade "deal" yesterday was merely a commitment to keep talking. A temporary truce rather than a treaty, deja vu of the truce with China prior to Trump's meeting with Kim Jong Un - which was quickly reversed the week after the summit took place. It was the art of the con job.

Also, it appears that the trade war with China just took a new and deadlier turn for the worse:

I think we all see where I'm going with this...

Meanwhile, the new Alzheimer's drug isn't nearly strong enough to fix the Idiocracy; they can now remember what they had for lunch yesterday, but breakfast still draws a total blank...

I think we all see where I'm going with this...

The "good news" is that recession stocks are "leading" - so rationality has been finally restored at the very end of the cycle...

This will be a very painful lesson, of that we can be certain
