We The Sheeple: The Status Quo Runs On Mass Ignorance

I just read that Anonymous is attacking the lamestream media. Good.

Anonymous Declares War on Mainstream Media

However, we need to realize that the entire status quo is predicated upon total ignorance. Because without mass ignorance, the sheeple would(n't):

They wouldn't work themselves out of a job to make the quarter

They wouldn't throw their money away in the stock market over and over again, each time expecting a different result

They wouldn't believe in the fake unemployment rate that goes down along with the number of jobs being created:

"The secret to lower unemployment is to create fewer jobs"
"Oh, ok"

They wouldn't believe that 0% for 7 years is actually helping the economy

They wouldn't leverage themselves 3x on McMansions

They wouldn't send their kids to get a fake education and a worthless credential (guilty as charged)

They wouldn't travel across 5 states to soccer tournaments while the world was imploding around them

They wouldn't support continuous warfare to bomb foreigners into exceptionalism

They wouldn't go every 4 years to pull the slot machine handle in the voting booth

"Not this again"

And they wouldn't watch CNN to pay for programming to brainwash them into paying for more programming

In other words without mass ignorance, all of "this" would come to a screeching halt
