The globalized economy is a colossal Ponzi Scheme in which the vast majority survive on the bread crumbs falling off the table. The possibility of 7 billion people achieving a consumption-oriented lifestyle is zero, so the World Bank conveniently set the poverty line at $1.25/day to legalize global slavery. As long as someone else's children are doing the suffering, it's "all good". Post-2008, this illusion was extended merely by plundering all future generations.

Globalization Is Running On Fumes And Ego
The go-to strategy for all failed empires is to fix the Middle East instead. There's an unlimited Idiocracy that believes they can do it too. We should thank all of them...
Globalization comes bearing many gifts:
The headlines are becoming ever more asinine. Because the megalomaniacs who run this imploding clusterfuck are desperate to maintain their illusion of control.
A global "superpower" is now merely a fading empire too busy "fixing" other countries to fix itself. Therefore, everything falls apart at home while the egomaniacs play RISK by Milton Bradley.
Unfortunately, the emperors have no clothes. The respective fascists running the U.S., Russia, and China are all equally bereft of ideas. Now they've all converged on the serial clusterfuck that is the Middle East, each to claim their own measure of control where there is absolutely none to be had. A combined strategy, that will be measured solely in sheer millions of refugees overflowing to Europe. The three stooges can't fix the problem, they are the problem.
As we see, the lifeblood of this entire Globalized disaster is over-confidence. Unfounded hubristic belief in the status quo. Belief that is being disintegrated on a daily basis, one economy, sector, and asset class at a time.
At the end, there will merely be naked emperors facing their own enraged populations.
At that point, the Middle East will be left to implode into chaos, all on its very own. Which it can do quite handily, without interference.
No one will be claiming victory at that point. And no one will be talking about "Iran" deals when the next door neighbour is a bigger threat than Al Qaeda.
It could be worse - they could be trying to prolong the status quo, instead of flying the Prozac Dreamliner straight into the ground.
We should thank them.
