Crumbling Empire

No Pride. Just Hubris

First it was Dick Cheney telling us that spending money on foreign military occupations was more important than food stamps.

Apparently playing supercop to multinationals around the world with troops in 130 countries is more important than looking after the nation's own citizens. It's all part of the Neocon fantasy - one massive ego trip consisting of arrogant jackasses who think that it's their duty to tell the rest of the world how to live "the American way", while their own country falls apart in real-time. It's 1989 deja vu. And to think that the Dow hasn't even collapsed yet - Globalization's Berlin Wall is still standing, held up merely by lies and mass delusion. There is nothing that any terrorist can do to the U.S. that Neocon frat boys are not already doing.
