Sports is the ultimate priority to the Idiocracy and politics is just sports for the Artificially Intelligent.
- Never-ending Benghazi investigations for aging FauxTards
- Repealing Obamacare (also for geriatric FauxTards who already have Medicare)
- Never-ending searches for missing airliners, costing hundreds of millions
- Non-stop debate over racist remarks made by a racist sports franchise owner
All of the Above Spectacle, At the Expense of:
- Ignoring rising geopolitical strife in every corner of the world
- Ignoring rising domestic ultra-violence
- Ignoring wealth inequality back at 1929 levels
- Ignoring a doomed Ponzi-economy that comes at the expense of all future generations
- Ignoring the environment and climate change, amid ever-more turbulent weather
- Ignoring Wall Street, madly inventing new and better ways to crater markets
- Ignoring Peak Oil and looming energy shortages, despite the Middle East being a smouldering latent disaster
The only thing Obama really had to do in 8 years was "fix" Wall Street, but of course Wall Street alchemy is at the epicenter of the Globalized Ponzi Scheme, so he wasn't allowed to even consider it
All or Nothing: All Now, Nothing Later
The problem with this society in a nutshell is that it was never content with what it had. On an historical basis it had an unprecedented amount of wealth and resources, but always wanted ever-more. Now it has ended up with the inevitable "nothing" part of the bargain, all papered over with insolvent debts. All we're doing right now is waiting for the stoned Idiocracy to realize that the status quo is already game over.

Things will have to get a lot worse before the buffoons in leadership are sufficiently "motivated".
