No Country For Arrogant Old Men

Today's cabal of old fraudsters have arranged their own funeral. Which goes above and beyond all expectation. Why do we have to elect Gary Busey, when he's already in the White House?

"We call it 'white supremacy'"

Ten years ago George W. Bush was busily de-regulating corruption, cutting taxes for the rich, running MASSIVE deficits, and turning a blind eye to asset bubbles. Ten years later, Trump has doubled down on the same failed policies, with a trade war thrown in for good measure Why? Because the massively failed reign of old white men has been successfully re-branded as "success". The term "shame" means nothing to these people, after all, it was just a minor global financial crisis. So clown 1.0 had to be replaced by an even bigger Clown 2.0. Sadly, from a demographic point of view, the right can't afford a repeat of 2008. Because Millenials don't believe any of their terminal bullshit. They are repulsed by the sociopathic-liar-in-chief. Do you remember how Lehman helped Rebublicans in 2008? Ended up with a Kenyan president of all things...

Rewind two years ago, the Republican strategy in 2016, was the "deaths of despair campaign", run by the KGB:

"Changes in life expectancy were an independent factor in voting choices. Reduced health prospects are an important marker of dissatisfaction, discouragement, hopelessness, and fear — sentiments that may have resonated with voters who sided with President Trump,"

Fast forward, and life expectancy is STILL falling even though the bubble is still at its zenith. What happens when the death rate accelerates and the birth rate collapses?

"The U.S. death rate rose last year, and 2017 will likely be the third straight year of decline in American life expectancy"

Just as important, there was little change in the death rate from the nation’s No. 1 killer: heart disease. In the past, steady annual drops in heart disease death rates offset increases in other causes. But that offset is no longer happening

For decades, life expectancy increased, rising a few months nearly every year. But 2016 was the second year in a row in U.S. life expectancy fell, a rare event that had occurred only twice before in the last century."

I like Trump. He becomes more like Gary Busey every day, highly entertaining while we wait for this all to explode with extreme dislocation. He's the right man for the job. If he can't bury these old jackasses still jockeying for control of the Titanic, then no one could.

[FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm betting in size, that he finishes the job the last chimp started. I didn't sign a contract saying I would be a serial conned dunce along with everyone else.]

This may well be the last chance Republicans have to win an election. And it looks like they're about to blow it. Big time.

And who will they have to blame for being conned. AGAIN.
