Freedom of Corporate Shock Doctrine

Freedom of speech is wasted on denialistic idiots.

"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery,
None but ourselves can free our minds."
- Bob Marley, Redemption Song

In a society that overwhelmingly rejects honesty and the truth, then freedom of speech actually does far more harm than good. Instead of giving rise to honest, informed discourse, freedom of speech merely arms the deceivers to do the most harm. It creates and sustains demagogues. Granted, there will always be a corner of society that prefers one-sided dishonest debate, however, when the majority of society subscribes to its own self-serving version of the truth, then freedom of speech is self-destructive.

Occupy Terminal Idiocracy
They wanted no change after 2008, so that's what they got - a deeper burial:

Edward Snowden is the perfect example. He exposed secrets that were not supposed to be secrets, to an unappreciative Idiocracy enjoying their daily enema of lies and bullshit. He didn't invade any countries on false pretense. He didn't fund terrorism. He didn't support foreign corrupt dictators. He didn't take bribes from Wall Street to look the other way after 2008. Still he was treated as a traitor far more so than any of the people who did all of the above.

All because the deceivers were fully armed to brainwash a willing populace into believing that "freedom" means having your entire life controlled by a corrupt corporate oligarchy. They are "free" to be corporate slaves. Until they're discarded by their own corporate slave masters. Monetized for special dividends.

"See, we're fair and balanced"
"Oh, ok"
