HFT Meltdown: Base Case Scenario

Industry-owned regulators have done nothing to fix the last two flash crashes, visible below; only a dunce assumes that the big one isn't coming. Every source of liquidity has been systematically depleted...




THIS Friday is the long awaited BATS HFT IPO redux. Their first attempt at IPO ended up at $0. Shit happens. Now they're going to try it all over again in the worst IPO market since 2009, and second worst IPO market ever. What could go wrong?
