"The Lehman Moment Is Not Happening In Broad Daylight"

This is going to make Lehman seem like a fucking picnic

Central Banks Can Save Markets At The Push Of a Button

Like they did in china:

It's this enduring fake-believe in the invincibility of Central Banks when collapse is already occurring in broad daylight, that will lead to the biggest volatility explosion in human history. Just because Central Banks buy (some) risk assets doesn't make them worth anything. If they paid a trillion dollars for a rock it doesn't mean the rock is now worth a trillion dollars. Holy fuck. Liquidity is not solvency, something today's Bernie Madoff generation is about to discover.

"At least 40 stock markets around the world with a total value of $27 trillion are in bear territory, as investors witness the worst start to a year on record."

Commodities are at a four decade low

Submerging Markets down -34%

Oil collapsing every day

"Don't worry, be happy. Whatever you may think, this is not 2008 all over again..."

This era's Lehman Moment was the global currency devaluation, but the Idiocracy slept through it...
