"We're Decoupled From The World Now"

The first leg down in the Asian/Emerging Market meltdown aka. the Yuan Devaluation (Aug. 11th), culminated in an overnight drop in the Dow of 1000 points, two weeks later. Ignore the fact that sector-by-sector, the U.S. market had been falling apart for months and years prior. In other words the Flash Crash brought down the last few U.S. sectors still rising...

"BUT, going forward, as the Asian crisis deepens with each passing day, the U.S. will be fully decoupled. From now on..."

An asinine scenario, as NOT seen below via the Aussie/Yen (Red) and S&P 500 (black), wherein every time the neckline is broken, U.S. stocks tank...



"If it weren't for Asia, we'd be at all time highs..."
