Terminal Idiocracy: A Sad Footnote in History

There's no Learning Channel and no History Channel anymore. Replaced by 19 Kids and Counting and Ancient Aliens. For a reason.

When they swan dive into pavement, they don't want to see it coming. They want to be a stain on the sidewalk. Their contribution to carbon reduction.

The sad world of fake believe:

Belief that the status quo should be maintained at all costs

Belief that this lurching disaster will implode on the children, not them

Belief in 0% to fix 1%

Belief in borrowing to get out of a debt crisis

Belief in printing money to inflate stocks

Belief in corporations to "create" jobs

Belief that the economy will float back from China any day now

Belief in Exxon for climate advice

Belief in Wall Street to manage their investments (Yes, again)

Belief in game show hosts to lead the country

Belief in bombing foreigners into exceptionalism

Belief in buying oil from terrorist sponsoring nations

Belief in McDonald's and Monsanto to feed the children

In other words, the Idiocracy "believes" in whatever is in their immediate self-interest, and will rationalize it any way possible. The 'truth' is just a channel on the remote. There is no Learning Channel and no History Channel, because the Idiocracy had no use for either one.

Swan diving into the dumpster of history.

No one to stop them.
