"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others"
China, Russia and the U.S. have ironically all converged on Fascism. Per Orwell's barn yard allegory, the criticisms I level at "capitalism" are endemic to the human race. The desire of one self-nominated elite set of people to first "lead" due to their obvious superiority of ideas, and then subsequently subjugate as rationalized by the exact same set of ideas.
All of which leads to Commie Capitalism. Socialism for billionaires at the expense of everyone else.
Libertarianism, which advocates the decentralization of power, has a bad habit of devolving into neo-feudalism, on its way back to a talent search for a single dominant demagogue. The problem with Libertarians is that they never admit to how dumb the average citizen wants to remain. If someone can be sold into slavery, then clearly the almighty market has assigned their appropriate net worth. The term 'exploitation' is a Socialist fabrication.
We blame the "isms" for failing, when it's the humans running them that are the common denominator.
No system needs to be or ever will be "equal" in all respects. There only needs to be a system that keeps people from falling face first into the ditch, while others use them as a bridge for crossing to the other side. A concept that has somehow eluded the hairless monkeys on their Animal Farm.
