The globalized economy is a colossal Ponzi Scheme in which the vast majority survive on the bread crumbs falling off the table. The possibility of 7 billion people achieving a consumption-oriented lifestyle is zero, so the World Bank conveniently set the poverty line at $1.25/day to legalize global slavery. As long as someone else's children are doing the suffering, it's "all good". Post-2008, this illusion was extended merely by plundering all future generations.

Life In The Matrix: No Subscription To Reality
Stick to the standard lies and assumptions.
Only speak with other well-behaved liars who keep to the script.
Always trust the psychopaths no matter how asinine their ideas.
Never question the bubble aka. status quo. How it got here. How long it can last. Who pays the price for it.
Assume ALL problems are in the future. The kids' future.
Assume that everyone else can eventually lose their job, but not you.
Always blame the other political party. The one you didn't vote for.
Above all, keep smiling and keep buying. You can win this life. You just have to own more shit than everyone else.
(And if this all ends for some totally unforeseeable inevitable reason, better luck next life)
