Just today we learned that North Korea threatened the U.S. with a pre-emptive nuclear attack. The Dow reached a new all time high on the news...
Yes, we are officially in The Twilight Zone, but nobody cares, so it must be Ok. Global risks have never been higher, but hey look, the Fed is injecting billions into the markets every single day this month (except tomorrow), so there is money to be made and Wall Street doesn't have time for that other "stuff". Meanwhile, as long as the Dow is moving higher, then the dominant cohort aka. the Boomers remain fat and happy, which means the "kids" can stay home forever playing xBox in the basement.
This Dreamliner Has No Landing Gear (or Pilot for that matter)...
However, those reading this after-the-fact, may be somewhat dismayed to realize that they ignored all of the blatant signs of global distress - ranging from nuclear threats, to escalating poverty, a 10 fold increase in the number of "militias", manipulated markets, a wholly dysfunctional government etc. etc.
And of course, hyperbolic bloggers ranting about hyperbolic markets...
The Value Line testing its recent high. This too shall end. Badly...
